Transit Pass Program

Do you earn less than $111,700 and work in Palo Alto? Will you commit to commuting by transit at least 3 days per week? If so, you may qualify for a FREE transit pass.

PATMA will give qualified employees a Clipper Card loaded with your choice of a Caltrain GoPass**, VTA SmartPass, SamTrans, or AC Transit Dumbarton Express monthly pass.

The monthly pass is good for unlimited trips within your pass parameters. As long as you use it for commuting 3 or more days per week, you can renew each month (subject to funding availability).

That’s a value of $800 to $4,200 per year. Plus, you’ll save gas, parking headaches and other commute costs.​

**The Caltrain GoPass is an annual pass that can be used across the entire Caltrain system. No monthly renewals required through the end of 2025.
